Wine and food lovers rejoice! The ultimate wine escape to McLaren Vale is back….with exclusive tastings, delicious surprises and fabulous dining. Plus some new top wineries for you to experience! With a focus on the incredible female winemakers of the region, we’ll take you behind closed doors and sip with some of Australia’s top women in wine.
All of them will be in town just for you!
Get ready for personal meet-and-greets and guided tastings by these incredible women of wine at their own cellar door, access to rare and hard to find wines from their portfolio, plus a few other tasty surprises. And between all that wine we’ve got some glorious dining happening too!

Settle in, relax, maybe wander nearby and then get frocked up for your night of delightful wine and inner Diva at the gorgeous Fabulous Ladies Wine society dinner, where you will enjoy a VIP, fab and very fun start to your Wome in Wine *All Stars* girls’ getaway…

After breakfast this morning, you will join your fellow wine lovers and transfer to McLaren Vale.
First stop is Larnook Wines for a private vineyard tour, tasting and morning tea with Alexia Roberts. Lexie is an award winning winemaker, best known for her work at Penny’s Hill, now with her own brand which is going from strength to strength.
We then head to the vineyard of Bec Hardy’s private residence for a fabulous visit. Bec’s family has been tending vineyards in McLaren Vale since the early 1850s when her great-great-great grandfather, Thomas Hardy, arrived from the UK. In 2015, Bec decided to make her own way in the Australian wine word and founded Bec Hardy Wines. In 2020, she acquired the Pertaringa wine brand from Wines by Geoff Hardy, becoming the first woman in the family to own vineyards and produce her own wine! We enjoy a delicious lunch here accompanied by her delightful wines.
Time to check in to The McLaren Vale Hotel & Apartments, where you have time to relax and enjoy a little lie down (or lld for short) or explore the beautiful village of McLaren Vale.
This evening, we are away to Oliver’s Taranga, operated by another amazing dynasty, for a casual night of pizzas and wine. Hosted by the divine Brioni & Corinna, sixth generation members of this incredible family, they will share their stories and their wine – total bliss.
Back to the hotel for a great night’s sleep after a gorgeous day and to get ready for tomorrow!!

Today spend time with more of these incredible women in wine, and the magic they create.
Post breakfast depart for a wine tasting at the fabulous Battle of Bosworth Wines and meet the gorgeous Louise Hemsley-Smith. Enjoy a delicious tasting and the opportunity for some on-on-one time with this very funny and talented lady.
Next stop is Gemtree, a fabulous Biodynamic winery, where you will meet the incredible Melissa Brown, co-owner and viticulturist. You will enjoy an insiders view of the biodynamic winemaking process (as well as a delicious wine tasting) followed by lunch platters and a glass of their gorgeous vino.
Back to your hotel for some more chill time before heading out to The Star of Greece, a top restaurant nearby and one with a view to die for! Dinner tonight is a 3 course affair including delicious wines selected by Jane.
To bed you go and tomorrow our final morning in this beautiful part of the world…

This morning indulge in a light brekky as it is then time to check out, depart and arrive at Dandelion for our last fabulous wine experience with Elena Brooks, fabulous woman, founder, co-owner, winemaker and more – she is a dynamo. A beautiful brunch and tasting (in one of the most spectacular wine settings ever) create a perfect end to a great escape.
We will finish here and then transfer directly to Adelaide Airport, arriving by 1.30pm at the latest. So flights are safe from 2.15 onwards!
